Today we were able to wear out PJ's to school as part of our book week celebrations. Some of us wore our slippers and dressing gowns as well!

Kiwi Can - Problem Solving - Tuesday, 23 August 2016

Kiwi Can - today we are learning about solving problems. Can you see a problem in the photo? There were four photos for us to look at. We had to talk to our partner about what we thought the problem in the photo was and what we could do to help or fix the problem. Some of us are learning to tie up our shoelaces by ourselves.

MATHS WEEK - Whanau Day Friday 12th August 2016

Maths Week Whanau Day. As part of our Maths Week activities we all invited someone to come and learn maths games with us on Friday. First we had celebration assembly and then maths games in our classrooms. We all got to take a Maths Pack home to play maths games with our family.

Celebration Assembly - Friday 12th August 2016

Celebration Assembly - skip counting in 2's, 10's and 5's as part of Maths Week. Today at Celebration assembly we shared our skip counting skills. We started off really well with our 2's and 10's. We still have a bit to learn when skip counting in 5's.

Kapa Haka - Thursday 11th August 2016

Kapa Haka with Whaea Jaz every Thursday afternoon. We are learning our Kapa Haka songs for the school production.

Dress Up Day - Tuesday, 23 August 2016

Today is dress up day as part of Book Week. We dressed up as our favourite book character. We had Robyn, The Cat in the Hat, Superman, Fairies, Spider-Man, Catman, a Farmer, Ben 10, a Pirate, Incy Wincy Spider, Poi girl and a Princess.

Nga Ringa Awhina at Mangonui Post Office - Friday, 19 August 2016

Today Nga Ringa Awhina walked down to Mangonui Post Shop to post our letters to Luca. We needed a stamp and sticker on our envelope. It will take 4-10 working days to get to Luxembourg.

We went to the shop and we got some lollies to put in the envelope for Luca. - Taniora

On Luca's parcel it had three stickers on it. Two were white and one was green. The green one was the one that you had to write what things were in it. Kuirau

We counted 106 stairs when we were walking up the stairs on our way back to school. Cody
